The International Copyright Review

The International Review of Copyright (RIDA) is a quarterly journal devoted to copyright in France and around the world. It is published by the ASSOCIATION FRANCAISE POUR LA DIFFUSION DU DROIT D'AUTEUR NATIONAL ET INTERNATIONAL (AFDA-RIDA), an association governed by the law of July 1, 1901.

Since October 1953, when its first issue was published, this journal has gathered information specific to this constantly evolving field of law. It thus makes it possible to keep abreast of the conclusion of new international agreements and the evolution of those already in existence, the increasing number of changes in national legislation, significant court decisions, the evolution of ideas through numerous articles of doctrine and the various meetings organized throughout the world, particularly at the level of international, governmental or non-governmental organizations.

Copyright constitutes its main object. However, the so-called neighboring rights, namely the rights of performers, producers of phonograms and videograms and broadcasting organizations, are the subject of analyses or information. The same applies to personality rights, in particular with regard to the right to privacy and the image of individuals.

The RIDA is intended to be used as a tool for the protection of personal data.

IDA is intended for a very broad audience, mainly lawyers, and authors' societies (AdagpSacdSacemScam). It is of interest to teachers and researchers, lawyers and other practitioners, both those who work regularly in this field and those who are only occasionally confronted with a copyright issue. Everyone will find it a source of reflection as well as the information that is important to know.

Each issue, approximately 350 pages in length, is  a full-fledged book devoted to copyright to which leading copyright scholars from all countries contribute.
